A mix of cultures, this mask is inspired by Catarina de San Juan, an Asian slave who according to legend was owned by a family from India, stolen by pirates and taken to Mexico.

Her Sugar Skull face paint is based on the Indian Mehndi (henna) designs and have been aged with a craquelure glaze and patina.

She wears red fabric roses atop her head.
