Description
Named after the founder of Celtic Football Club Andrew Kerins, better known as Brother Walfrid, this mask can be specially commissioned for the Celtic Fan who has everything, except a Venetian mask with a modern Scottish twist featuring their team’s colours and tartan.
Made in the traditional Venetian style this mask is made of papier mache with 11 Collar and tips made from Official Celtic Tartan and green velvet, they are complete with gold coloured tin bells held securely with semi-precious gemstones, on this occasion moss agate gemstones. He features the ‘official tartan’ tag, location of which will be determined as he is being made. His ‘cap n’ bells’ is finished with luxurious braiding and a centrepiece gemstone. The one pictured is a tear shaped olive onyx. His face is painted with UV sensitive paint created by contemporary British artist Stuart Semple.
He has ribbons for wearing and a ribbon loop for hanging on the wall where he’ll complement any decor, but will look especially at home in the sports fan’s bedroom, den or sports room.
This mask is made to order and can take up to 3 weeks for completion.
Whilst this particular mask of Brother Walfrid has been sold, the photos are used for reference to show how good your mask could look and whilst it will have similarities in the overall design, no two will be the same. Your mask will also be named upon completion, by you or us.
The Official Celtic Tartan was created by Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers of Edinburgh for the 130th Anniversary of Celtic Football Club.
